How Healthy is your Prostate By jeffrey eadie

Summary

The prostate is a small gland found in men. It’s roughly the size and shape of a walnut, and is nestled below the bladder. The urethra passes right through it. The prostate is a part of the reproductive system, because it produces a nutrient-rich fluid that protects the sperm and forms part of the

ejaculate. Men over the age of 50 are primarily affected by prostate disease, the most common being an expanding prostate. Scientists haven’t able to pinpoint the exact cause of prostate growth, but it’s been established that age and heredity play a major role in triggering prostate disorders.

tists haven’t able to pinpoint the exact cause of prostate growth, but it’s been established that age and heredity play a major role in triggering prostate disorders.

So how would you know whether your prostate is in good shape, especially if you’re in your fifties or sixties? Prostate disorders usually manifest themselves through difficulty in urination. To know if your prostate is healthy, know these symptoms especially if you’re at risk for prostate disease or have a family member who is a prostate patient:

·         Frequent urge to urinate, which doubles at night

·         Leaking after urine stream has ended

·         Hesitancy while passing urine stream

·         Straining while urinating

·         Stopping and starting while urinating

·         Inability to completely empty the bladder

These signs and symptoms may slowly develop over time, and are usually indicative of a growing prostate. Don’t ignore these symptoms. Visit a doctor to get to the root of the problem. Doctors usually perform a DRE (digital rectal examination) and a urinary flow test to assess the condition and then begin the right course of treatment.

If you don’t exhibit these signs, great! But that doesn’t mean you should ignore the prostate. Keep it healthy by following these simple yet effective measures:

·         A low-fat diet which consists of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains is better for the prostate than foods high in salt and saturated fat.

·         Alcoholic and caffeinated drinks don’t bode well for the prostate; so keep their intake to a minimum.

·         Provide your body with the goodness of Beta Sitosterol, a class of plant sterols found in Super Beta Prostate, a supplement specifically meant for nurturing the prostate. Beta Sitosterol has the unique capability to bind to the prostate gland, thereby inhibiting swelling. This in turn reduces the frequent need to urinate, which can be an immense relief to men, helping them sleep longer at night. Read a Super Beta Prostate supplement review to find out more about what others have experienced.

·         Perform Kegel exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. It helps you achieve better bladder and urinary flow control.

Most men tend to neglect prostate health, simply because either they’re unaware of it or they haven’t yet faced urinary flow trouble. There’s no way you can stop this disorder, so don’t wait for the prostate to grow and begin troubling you.A look at Super Beta Prostate testimonials will give you a clearer picture on how a growing prostate can truly ruin the quality of life. Modify your dietary habits and include a few minutes of exercise in your everyday schedule to keep your tiny gland in top shape.
