Concrete is widely used as the main ingredient in building architectural structures such as bridges, dams, highways, foundation for buildings, pipes, wall structures, pavements. Through cement has been around for some time, there have been a lot of improvements with the inclusion of resins with cement and other additives in appropriate amounts to improve performance and esthetic quality of concrete. The concrete overlays come in various thickness, they can be as thin as 0.030 inches. Epoxy is a commonly used integrant in concrete floor coating techniques. It is the cured end product of epoxy resins and it is a preferred industrial adhesive. The main chemical components of these commonly used adhesives are epichlorohydrin, bisphenol-A, and triethylenetetramine.

Improving functionality through staining:

Concrete can develop imperfections and hair cracks over time, with current techniques such as concrete polishing the imperfections can be eliminated effectively. Epoxy flooring can be a good option for decorative purposes and as a damage control measure to safeguard floors. There are many concrete flooring companies which offer premium quality flooring options when it comes to personalized floor designs.
